Who we are

KayZTeC Technologies (Private) Limited is the publisher, operator, and data controller for this Zimbabwe website and KayZTeC LaunchGuard.

The South African pages on kayztec.com describe a separate KayZTeC market presence. They do not identify a different LaunchGuard operator or controller.

KayZTeC LaunchGuard privacy notice

LaunchGuard is an anonymous, bounded, read-only service for auditing public websites and public DNS. No LaunchGuard account is required.

Information supplied for a check

• The public URL or domain submitted.
• Optional DKIM selector names.
• Any path or query string included in the submitted URL.
• Tool options needed to perform the requested check.
• Separate support information only if a user contacts KayZTeC.

Do not submit passwords, API credentials, access tokens, MFA codes, account-profile information, precise location, full conversation transcripts, private-network addresses, payment information, health information, government identification, or similarly restricted information.

Public information inspected

• HTTP response status, redirects, response headers, and bounded public page content.
• Public robots.txt and sitemap information.
• Public DNS records.
• Public metadata, analytics tags, and consent signals.

Public pages and DNS records can contain public contact or personal information. LaunchGuard is designed to minimize what it returns in the report.

OpenAI boundary

When LaunchGuard is used through ChatGPT or Codex, OpenAI sends KayZTeC the arguments needed for the selected tool. LaunchGuard does not request or reconstruct the user’s full conversation history.

OpenAI may retain the conversation and the returned report according to the user’s OpenAI service, account settings, and applicable OpenAI terms and privacy notice.

Purposes

• Perform the requested audit and produce and return the report.
• Protect the service from abuse and apply rate limits.
• Diagnose reliability or security failures when operational logging is configured.
• Respond to support, privacy, security, and abuse reports.

KayZTeC does not use LaunchGuard tool arguments or reports for advertising, behavioral profiling, lead generation, or model training.

Recipients and technical requests

• KayZTeC Technologies (Private) Limited, as publisher and operator.
• Cloudflare, for Worker, network, security, and DNS infrastructure.
• OpenAI, as the requesting platform or client when LaunchGuard is invoked there.
• Audited websites, redirect destinations, hosting providers, and DNS infrastructure, which receive the technical HTTP(S) or DNS requests needed for the check.
• Authorized staff or contractors, if they need access to appropriately minimized operational or support records.
• Netlify, for website hosting and the domain-verification function.
• EmailJS and the configured mailbox provider, only when a user sends a contact or support message.
• Google reCAPTCHA, only when a user opens or submits the general contact form.

These organizations have different roles. This notice does not characterize every recipient as acting solely on KayZTeC’s behalf.

LaunchGuard retention

• Transient processing: request data is used for the duration of the requested check.
• Tool arguments and reports: LaunchGuard does not intentionally write them to a report-history application database.
• Accounts: LaunchGuard has no user-account database.
• Worker application logs: safe error categories are deleted within 30 days. Request URLs, tool arguments, reports, prompts, credentials, and response bodies are not intentionally written to these logs.
• HTTP and security logs: edge request and security records are deleted within 30 days.
• Rate-limit records: counters and enforcement records are deleted within 24 hours after the last request represented by the record.
• Incident evidence: a minimized copy isolated for an active security or abuse investigation is deleted within 12 months after the case closes, unless a longer legal hold is required.
• Support messages: messages are deleted within 24 months after the support, privacy, security, or abuse matter closes, unless a longer legal hold is required.

LaunchGuard user controls

• Avoid sensitive data by submitting only an authorized public target and the minimum tool options.
• Stop using LaunchGuard or remove its MCP connection using the controls in the requesting client.
• Email [email protected] to ask a privacy question or request applicable access, correction, or deletion.
• If a secret is submitted accidentally, revoke or rotate it with its issuing provider immediately and contact KayZTeC without repeating the secret.
• Anonymous or minimized records may not be linkable to an individual, which can limit the ability to locate a requested record.

Website information

• Enquiries: name, email, message, and any information voluntarily entered in the contact form or chat.
• Service delivery: business contact, device, and configuration information required by an agreed service.
• Essential network data: request details and security logs processed by hosting and network infrastructure.
• Analytics or marketing events: only after opt-in and only when a verified production identifier is configured.

Purposes

• Respond to enquiries and deliver agreed services.
• Protect the website and diagnose reliability or security problems.
• Measure website use or campaigns only when the visitor opts in and a verified integration is enabled.
• Meet applicable contractual and legal obligations.

Cookies and tracking

Consent defaults to denied for analytics and marketing. The website stores the essential consent choice in browser session storage until that browser session ends; the choice is not sent to KayZTeC by the consent component.

Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, session replay, and Cloudflare Web Analytics are not approved or enabled in this release. Enabling a non-essential integration requires an updated notice and a new consent review before deployment. Non-essential integrations are not required to use legal, product, or support pages.

Withdrawing consent updates supported consent signals to denied, prevents future page-view calls from this website code, and attempts to clear common removable GA4 and Meta cookies. A previously downloaded third-party script cannot be made unseen by the browser, so a reload is recommended after withdrawal.

Recipients and external services

• EmailJS and the configured mailbox provider receive contact-form or chat messages.
• Google reCAPTCHA is used on the general contact form for spam protection; the direct email alternative on that page does not require CAPTCHA.
• Hosting, CDN, and security infrastructure receives normal network requests and security data.
• Analytics and advertising providers do not receive website events from the current release because those integrations are disabled.

Retention

• Consent choice: stored only in browser session storage and removed when that browser session ends; KayZTeC keeps no server-side consent record.
• General enquiries: deleted within 24 months after the last substantive contact.
• LaunchGuard support: deleted within 24 months after the matter closes.
• Website operational and security logs: deleted within 30 days, except minimized incident evidence described above.
• Website analytics: no analytics events are collected by KayZTeC in this release.
• Service, contract, billing, and tax records: kept for the service term and then up to five years, or longer only when applicable law or an active dispute requires it.

Security

KayZTeC uses safeguards such as HTTPS, access controls, MFA where supported, and maintained software. No technical or organizational safeguard can guarantee absolute security.

International processing

Cloudflare, OpenAI, Netlify, EmailJS, Google reCAPTCHA, mailbox providers, and audited internet infrastructure may process information outside Zimbabwe or South Africa. Where personal information is transferred internationally, KayZTeC uses contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards appropriate to the information and applicable law, or another legally permitted basis. The technical requests needed to perform a user-requested LaunchGuard check may cross borders according to the location of the audited website and its infrastructure.

Your controls

You can request applicable access, correction, or deletion by emailing [email protected] or through the contact page. You can reopen cookie settings to change or withdraw non-essential consent. Some anonymous, minimized, security, or legally required records may not be identifiable or immediately deletable.

Children

The website and LaunchGuard are general-audience business services and are not directed to children. Do not use LaunchGuard to collect personal information about children.
